26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Thank you for joining our Sunday School broadcast. We ask that you please share this message on your Facebook and other social media pages. Because, it is our responsibility to let a dying world know that Jesus is real and He's coming back soon for all who believe. You are invited to join us in person at our new location: 107 Texas St. Lancaster, Tx. 75146 for our Sunday morning worship at 9:00 a.m. , followed by Sunday School (Edification Hour) at 10:45 a.m., concluding with our afternoon service (Table Talk) at 12:15 p.m. Again, we are the Redeemed and we pray our services reflect the love and adoration we have for the Lord and his people. Until tomorrow, Be Blessed, Be Safe, and Be Sure to Share Jesus with Somebody Else!

If you don't know the Savior Jesus Christ, it's not to late. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." If you believe this today, If you believe in His Death, Burial, and Resurrection-you will be saved. Jesus is coming back for His church - we (those who have accepted Him as Lord and Savior) are the Church. If you desire to have a relationship with the Father and experience eternal life with Him, accept His Son today. As children of God, disciples of Jesus and enemies of the world, we have been sanctified (set apart for God's service) and have been equipped with the knowledge and the ability to share the Good New, God's message of Salvation - bringing the Word to a dying world that they may be united with the Father and share in the joy of being called His own to be set apart to do His will. Jesus prayed for future believers (us and those to come). He desire for us was not only to be His disciples, but to work together in unity.

Jesus came not only to die for for the fulfillment of salvation for mankind. He also came to magnify the relationship between Him and the Father. Jesus points to the sovereignty and Holiness of God, letting us know that everything that has been given to Him was given by God. In turn Jesus gave to us, so we are know equipped to bring glory to God through the work we do because of the work that was modeled for us by Jesus Christ. In our work we continue to grow closer and closer together through our familial relationship with Jesus Christ. This is necessary for us to work in unity...this was Jesus' prayer for us...that we experience joy even though we will be hated by the world.

Lesson Introduction: We find God's desire for us in His prayer in John 17. We find His desires for His disciples and for those who would come after them. If the Lord prayers for something He would like to see in the lives of His followers, that tells us what His desires are for us. His desires should then become our spiritual goals.

Today's Lesson Outline: 1. Prayer for God's Glory-John 17:6-8 2. Prayer for the Disciples-John 17:9-19 3. Prayer for Future Believers-John 17:20-21
